Kurukshetra: A Night That Lit Up Nephop
On October 18, Kurukshetra was held — a massive hip-hop event where multiple rap battles took place. Among them, one of the most anticipated face-offs was India vs Nepal, featuring MC Kode representing India and Nasto representing Nepal.
Both artists went all out, delivering fiery bars that kept the crowd hyped throughout. As an eyewitness, I can proudly say the event was epic — a true celebration of hip-hop culture. The battle even paid homage to the late Nepali hip-hop legend Yama Buddha, whose legacy still inspires rappers across borders.
The event saw the presence of many respected hip-hop artists and crews including SickJam, Ktown Entertainment, and Breakstation. The energy in the venue was unmatched — every round, every bar, every reaction reminded everyone how powerful and alive Nephop truly is.
Even Balen Shah, the Mayor of Kathmandu and one of the OGs from Raw Barz, commented on the battle video. His words reflected the same excitement felt by fans: “If just one battle video can light up Nephop, imagine what two more can do.”
And yes — two more battles are on the way: EMF vs Itish and Koinch G vs CG. So let’s wait and watch how these next face-offs set the scene on fire again.
Kurukshetra wasn’t just an event — it was a statement. Nephop is alive, evolving, and ready to roar louder than ever.
