Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expanded her cabinet by appointing three new ministers.
The newly appointed ministers—Rameshwar Khanal, Omprakash Aryal, and Kulman Ghising—took their oath of office and secrecy on Monday at a ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas, administered by President Ramchandra Poudel.
Kulman Ghising has been assigned the Ministry of Energy, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Urban Development. Omprakash Aryal will lead the Ministry of Home Affairs and Law, while Rameshwar Khanal takes charge of the Ministry of Finance.
Prime Minister Karki was appointed on Friday following the Gen Z movement, which paved the way for the formation of a government with greater citizen-level representation.
